A 39-year-old woman committed a suicide at Cairo University metro station, forcing a halt of the metro service for 8 minutes.
Board Chairman of the Egyptian Metro Company Ali Al Fadhali said Rasha Abdel Azim Mahmoud, an administrative staffer at Cairo university, jumped before a running metro at Cairo University metro station.
Ambulance removed the body of the dead and carried it to the morgue, while the metro service was resumed.
