A Nepalese maid stabbed her employer with a knife before committing suicide with the same blade, a Lebanese security report has said. The rare crime left the maid dead from a fatal stomach wound and her employer, Mona al-Shamali, with hand injuries. The maid, born in 1975, arrived at St George’s hospital in Ajaltoun but later died. Al-Shamali is currently receiving treatment.
