Who said something old couldn\'t be made into something new...Here\'s How Step 1: Undo hinges of art box with a screwdriver to separate lid from box. Lightly sand, then apply stain blocker to exterior of box. Let dry. Step 2: Spray exterior of box in orange. Let dry. If you wish to give your box a decorative effect on outside, put a patterned placemat or stencil over exterior and spray pink. Let dry. Reassemble box. Step 3: Measure and cut cardboard to line back of box and drawer. Stick cardboard in place with spray adhesive. Step 4: To hang necklaces, install cup hooks along inside top of right-hand side of box (body) and in drawer, about 2cm apart. On left-hand side of box (lid), install a pair of hooks for hanging bracelets or earrings. Step 5: To store rings, cut a 3cm-wide length of rubber mat to suit box. Glue in place with Gel Grip. Use a utility knife to make slits, about 2cm apart. Step 6: Apply Gel Grip to back of mirror and press into place on bottom left-hand side of box. Step 7: Affix a picture hanger to back of body of art box to hang. Hang jewellery and press rings into slits to hold in place.
