Russia will serially build its nuclear sea fleet, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said at the Tekhnoprom forum in Novosibirsk on Thursday.
"In 2017, 2019 and 2020 we plan to commission 3 nuclear icebreakers with the capacity of up to 60 MW. The Iceberg Design Bureau is expected to create a powerful nuclear icebreaker with the capacity of up to 130 MW, which will secure ice escort. The icebreaker will be more than 50 metres wide," Rogozin said.
