Kuwait - KUNA
Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award (Kuwait Shift 5) was launched on Sunday on the Kuwait Government Online website.
This year's competition titled "Kuwait For Humanity", is meant to showcase the country's prominent charity work.
Those who wish to enroll can do so through the portal application "His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad For Humanitarian Works".
The Award coincides with the upcoming National Day celebrations, said member of the Award's organizing committee Bassam Al-Shimmari.
The competition's theme goes side by side with the celebration's main theme "The Humanitarian Leader", he added.
Coordinator of the 'Kuwait Shift 5' Ahmad Safar on his part noted that the competition will include 10 questions about Kuwait's regional and international charity work, in both English and Arabic.
The link for the one-month long competition is available on media social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus, Safar noted.
The competition provides a total of USD 30,000 worth of prizes for 30 winners, with USD 1,000 for each, the coordinator said.
