Deputy Director of Iran's Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO) Brigadier General Abdolkarim Banitarafi has said that the organization is to increase the flight range of its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) enabling them to fly at higher altitudes and capture more accurate images.
The IAIO is affiliated to Iran's Defense Ministry, in charge of designing and manufacturing the domestically-made aircrafts for armed forces, according to Iranian news agency (IRNA).
