South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. continued to maintain its dominance in the global television market in the third quarter of the year, data showed Thursday. Samsung's sales of flat-screen TVs accounted for 25.5 percent of the global market in the July-September period, followed by its local rival LG Electronics Inc. with 14.7 percent and Japan's Sony Corp. with 7.5 percent, according to DisplaySearch.
