The exchange rate of the US dollar rose on Monday three to five piasters in the five major banks in Egypt compared with Sunday's rate.

The US dollar recorded EGP 18.65 for buying and EGP 18.75 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire.

In the Arab African International Bank (AAIB), dollar exchange rate reached EGP 18.73 for buying and EGP 18.83 for selling.

In the Commercial International Bank (CIB), it rose to EGP 18.70 for buying and EGP 18.80 for selling.
