A limited fire was brought under control at a gas pipeline at Kuwait\'\'s Burgan oil field, the Kuwait Oil Company said in a statement released early on Friday. KOC firemen put out the blazes in an hour and quarter time after isolating the damaged pipeline, said the statement quoted by Kuwait news agency (KUNA). A staff of the oil company and three contractors suffered some burns and bruises as a result of the accident. They were transported to hospital for treatment, the statement added. Operations of the KOC proceeded regularly, it said.
