The price of OPEC basket of thirteen crudes stood at $54.24 a barrel on Friday, compared with $53.93 the previous day, OPEC said on Monday. 
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes is made up of the following: Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Rabi Light (Gabon), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria) and Merey (Venezuela).
