President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree approving a loan agreement on the expansion of the West Cairo Power Station with a capacity of 650MW.

The agreement worth 375 million Saudi royals (100 million dollars) was signed between the Egyptian government and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) on April 8, 2016.

The decree was published in the Gazette out Thursday.
