Sudanese Minister of Oil and Gas Abdul Rahman Othman Abdul Rahman discussed in a meeting Thursday with Chinese Ambassador in Khartoum Li Lianhe ways of fostering bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas industry.
During the meeting, the Sudanese minister hailed the technical cooperation between the two states in a number of domains, especially the leading experience in the oil and gas industry, citing the bilateral strategic partnership that span over 30 years.
Also, Abdul Rahman called on China to pump more investments in the oil and gas sector and expand in establishing refineries and pipelines in Sudan.
For his part, Li Lianhe expressed his country’s willingness to bolster cooperation with the African country in the oil and gas industry, in addition to other domains, including the construction of bridges, roads and electricity projects.
