Alexandria Governor Tarek Mahdi on Monday formed an excavation committee to carry out excavation work in Kabbari district.
The committee was formed after discovering 180 Greek and Roman artifacts, a tomb and a coffin during drilling surreptitiously under a house in the district.
The artifacts were seized to be sent to the Greek-Roman Theater.
