Cairo - MENA
The Arab League council condemned destroying the religious and cultural heritage in Iraq by terrorist organizations.
This came in a draft resolution to be presented to Arab foreign ministers in their meeting Monday at the conclusion of the 143rd round of Arab League council's meeting at the level of permanent representatives under Jordan's chairmanship.
The resolution supports the Iraqi war against Daesh and its terrorist attacks.
The resolution also calls for offering support to Iraq to help the internally displaced who had to leave their homes because of Daesh control over their cities.
It also calls for activating an Arab joint defense council to work on the dangers facing all the Arab states which threaten the Arab national security.
