Members of Al Azhar mission, stranded in Yemen, have been evacuated to Saudi Arabia en route to Cairo, the head of Al Azhar's Islamic Research Academy said on Wednesday.
Mohi el Din Afifi extended his thanks to the Egyptian embassy in Yemen for ending the crisis peacefully.
