Egypt's Ambassador in Paris Ihab Badawy opened Thursday a symposium under the rubric "Egypt between yesterday and today".
The cultural bureau at the embassy organized the symposium, which saw the attendance of top Egyptian and French figures.
The two-day symposium is attended by Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Memish and Prime Minister adviser for heritage affairs Fathi Saleh and Director of Alexandrina Biblotheca Ismail Serag el Deen along with a host of officials.
