Paris - MENA
Egypt's ambassador in Paris Ihab Badawi received on Thursday 233 pieces of antiquities which were smuggled to France in 2010.
French authorities handed the pieces to the Egyptian embassy during a ceremony which was attended by France's ambassador to Egypt and French customs officials.
The Egyptian diplomat expressed his happiness over restoring the pieces, which followed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to France.
He said the visit opened a new chapter of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
