Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damati has dismissed news about using laser applications to remove the epoxy used in gluing the beard of Tutankhamen statue.
A scientific committee has been formed to suggest best ways to fix the damage caused to the statue, Damati said in a statement Tuesday.
He urged the media to be accurate in covering the news.
