Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty inspected Thursday a number of archaeological sites in Menoufia and Qalyubia, Nile Delta.

The move came as part of a plan adopted by the Antiquities Ministry to inspect all the archaeological sites nationwide.

In a statement issued by the ministry, Damaty underlined the importance of these field visits.
