Cairo - MENA
Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa renewed his warning against political “Shiitization” aimed at dividing Sunni communities apart.
In a statement, Gomaa said he rejects allowing any employee at the ministry to travel to Iran or extend an invitation to any of its clergymen.
He warned against the Iranian expansion and its blatant interference in the affairs of some Arab countries.
He said a line should be drawn between normal citizens embracing Shiitism in some Arab countries like Kuwait and between the political abuse of Shiitism.
