In a statement Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said that the GLYPTOTEK gallery, opened on April 9, sheds light on a certain period of ancient Egyptian history.

The opening was attended by a number of academics involved in studying Egyptology along with a host of foreign ambassadors in Denmark and members of diplomatic corps.

The gallery is scheduled to run until June 28
