The third edition of ArtInternational will gather pieces by pop-art icon Andy Warhol, British contemporary artist Grayson Perry, English graffiti artist Banksy, Catalan artist Joan Miro and Belgian multidisciplinary artist Jan Fabre.

The contemporary and modern art fair, which will feature 83 galleries from 24 countries, will take place at Halic Congress Center on the banks of Istanbul’s Golden Horn between Sep. 4 and 6.

Nine works from “established and emerging” artists have been chosen for this year’s event from the fair’s participating galleries.

Bulgarian artist Rada Boukova, Turkish artist Guido Casaretto, Kazakh artist Erbossyn Meldibekov, Indonesian Ichwan Noor, Bulgarian artist Stefan Bikolaev, Ecuadorian Javier Perez, German Paul Schwer, Iraqi Walid Siti and Chinese Chen Wenling’s works will be displayed at Halic Congress Center’s waterfront.

Fair director Dyala Nusseibeh said: “‘By the Waterside’ will continue to engage, delight and surprise visitors, offering challenging works from established and emerging artists.”

According to organizers, last year’s event attracted more than 20,000 people.
