The 24th conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Egypt opened here Saturday with the participation of representatives from over 40 countries including Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti delegation is headed by Amiri Diwan Affairs advisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Matouq. The event is sponsored by the Egyptian leadership.
The two-day conference will focus on Islam as a great religion and the ill practice of Islamic teachings perpetrated by various individuals claiming to be Muslim.
