Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh el-Damati inspected on Sunday El-Tod Temple in Luxor to know the impact of groundwater on the temple.
The minister said the ministry was working to carry out a project to pull groundwater underneath the temple.
"We are seeking to put the temple on Egypt's tourism map," he said after the inspection.
