The Ministry of Antiquities said on Sunday Egypt will restore 123 pieces of antiquities dating back to the old Egyptian Civilization from Washington within the coming days.

In statements on Sunday, Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh el Damati said these pieces have been illegally smuggled from Egypt and were seized by the customs authority in New York City.

The ministry has recently signed a number of agreements with several countries to restore any pieces that are proved to be part of the Egyptian civilization.
