Abu Dhabi - WAM
The National Media Council (NMC), has unveiled a mural painting to mark the NMC's celebrations of the Flag Day, which embodies the 43 years of the Union's march. The mural cherishes the sublime theme of pride in the founding fathers of the Union.
The painting includes a portrait of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the landmarks of the capital, Abu Dhabi, and an image of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world's highest skyscraper. It also depicts the progress achieved by the U.A.E. in all walks of life.
The NMC's mural painting comes in line with the implementation of the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to mark the Flag Day, which coincides with 3rd November, the anniversary of the accession of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the presidency.
The graphics technology and pop art painting have been used to freely express the employees' love of the homeland in a non-traditional way. It is an art that rethinks things from a new perspective after changing colours or mixing them with different designs.
