Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Sunday appointed General Bishop of the Old Cairo Churches Anba Julius as a new supervisor for the Coptic Orthodox Church's services diocese.

Anba Julius succeeded Anba Yoannis who was earlier appointed as Bishop of Assiut, succeeding Anba Mikhail, who recently died.
