Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese chaired on Thursday the closing session of the meetings of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

As many as 115 bishops attended the meeting, which was held at the Coptic Cultural Center in St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassia.

The Holy Synod convenes twice a year in May and November.
