Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese decided to resume his weekly sermon at the end of August, the Orthodox Church said in a statement.

The sermon is scheduled on Wednesday weekly at a Cairo church.

The statement did not specify the church where the sermon will be resumed.

The sermon meetings were suspended five weeks ago due to a project of painting the Cathedral Icons.
