The Tibetan New Year, also known as Losar, is the most important festival in the Tibetan calendar. Preparations kick off over a two day period called Gutor - the last two days of the outgoing year. The first day of Gutor is spent house cleaning and decorating. Cleaning up for a better Tibetan year - Yixidajie, a 70 year old farmer, has been living in this small village with his family for 70 years.
