Pope Tawadros II

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese lauded the efforts of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to establish good relations with all the countries of the world.

Pope Tawadros gave an example of the good ties between Egypt and Ethiopia which have improved a lot.

The Pope termed the terrorist operations against Christians in Libya as painful for the Egyptian and Ethiopian Christians.

The remarks of Pope Tawadros came on the sidelines of his participation in the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at the Turkish Ottoman army's hands.

Egypt is among the states that hosted the Armenians after the incidents they suffered in World War I, he said.
