Kuwaiti youth

The Ministry of State for Youth Affairs has launched a trip program to raise young people's awareness about Kuwait's history and heritage.
The trip included visiting historic mosques, education and sport buildings and marketplaces in the country, the program coordinator Fatma Al-Mutawaa told KUNA on Sunday.
She said that 50 male and female youth have participated in the first trip. They visited a number of Kuwait's historic marketplaces: Al-Mubarakiya, Al-Tojar, Al-Dakhali and Al-Manakh.
Dr. Abdulmutalab Al-Balam from the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University explained to the youth the main characteristics of these historic places and Economic expert Jassem Al-Saadon informed them main feature of Kuwait's trade activities before and after the discovery of oil.
