Unidentified gunmen attacked Al Quds mosque in the Libyan capital on Thursday by an explosive device, causing big damage, a security source said.
No side has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
The mosque was badly damaged from inside and outside as a result of the explosion.
Daesh militant group has earlier claimed responsibility for targeting the embassies of Iran, Spain, Morocco, Algeria and South Korea in Tripoli.
