Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met Thursday with General Joseph Votel, commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), and his accompanying delegation.

    The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation ties between the two sides and ways to strengthen them, particularly in relation to military coordination and defense cooperation. The two sides also discussed issues of mutual interest.
