Major General Mahmoud Freihat chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff of Jordan met on Thursday with Matar Saif Al-Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at his office.

Major General Freihat congratulated Al-Shamsi on his appointment as UAE Ambassador to Jordan. They also discussed cooperation and ways to enhance ties between the armed forces of the two countries.

Brigadier Ahmed Jassim Al Suwaidi, UAE Military Attache in Amman attended the meeting.
