Culture Minister Helmi Namnam received Tuesday Shanghai's deputy mayor Weng Tiehu and his accompanying delegation.

Namnam asserted the depth of the cultural ties between Egypt and China, adding that Egypt is looking forward to cultural partnership with China in the different technical and cultural domains.

There are important cultural projects that the ministry is working on implementing in different cities in Egypt, he said.

Meanwhile, Weng thanked the minister for the hospitable reception.
