Cairo - MENA
Tourism Minister Khaled Ramy met on Monday a number of representatives of Saudi, Kuwaiti and UAE newspapers and magazines.
This comes within the ministry's efforts to restore Arab tourism to Egypt in conjunction with the launching of "Egypt is Near" campaign that aims to encourage Arabs to visit Egypt.
During the meeting, the minister hailed the relations between Egypt and the Arab countries.
Incoming tourism to Egypt is recovering after hard times, he said, adding that the number of tourists will increase in the coming period.
He said the ministry's 2020 plan aims to increase the number of tourists visiting Egypt to 20 millions.
