Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli hailed the decision of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to host 1,000 families of police and army personnel, who were killed in terrorist attacks, to perform hajj rituals.
Madbouli, who heads the Egyptian hajj mission, made the remarks during a meeting Tuesday with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mohammed Salih.
In a statement to MENA, Madbouli said that he thanked Salih for the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia to serve pilgrims.
Also, Madbouli asserted that he discussed with the Saudi minister the latest preparations for the hajj season and facilitation offered by the kingdom to pilgrims.
