Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam met here last night with Italian House Speaker Laura Boldrini.

    During the meeting, they discussed means to bolster Italian-Lebanese relations. Separately, the Lebanese Prime Minister had also met with UN Special Coordinator Sigrid Kaag. 

    The Talks dealt with the general situation in Lebanon and the region as well as means of implementing international security resolution 1701.
