Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu Zeid met Thursday with Housing Minister Mostafa Madboli to discuss the elements of the Western Egypt Development Project.

During the meeting, Abu Zeid said the project is very important for the increase in the global trade volumes, pointing out that the western Egypt area links the African continent to Europe and Asia.

Madboli, for his part, hailed studies on the project that are planned to achieve integrated development in Western Egypt. (MENA)
