President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Tuesday received at the Guest House the visiting Qatari Sheikh Thani bin Hamad bin Khalifa, and the Qatari State Minister and Chairman of the board of directors of Qatar Charity Organization, Sheikh Hamad bin Naser bin Jasem, in presence of the Ambassador of Qatar to Sudan, Abdul-Rahman Al-Neaimi, and discussed means of consolidating further the relations between Sudan and Qatar. 
President Al-Bashir has appreciated the great role of the State of Qatar realizing peace in Darfur and establishing services and development in the country.
He reiterated Sudan keenness to boost the fraternal and deeply-rooted ties between the two countries for the interest of the two peoples.
