President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday issued directives to maintain efforts for uprooting terrorism and track down terrorists who are seeking to undermine the stability of Egypt.
The remark was made at a meeting with Minister of Defense Colonel General Sedki Sobhi, Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar and Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Mohamed Farid along with head of the intelligence service Khaled Fawzy and head of the military intelligence Mohamed Farag al Shahat, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The president received a report at the meeting from the ministers of defense and interior on the security situation in North Sinai and measures adopted by the Armed Forces and security agencies concerned for fighting terrorism and maintaining the security and stability of the area, added the spokesman.
