Foreign Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states will hold their 141st session in Bahrain on Thursday.
The meeting will be headed by Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifah with the participation the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Al Zayani said the meeting is to prepare for the 37th summit of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council to be held in Bahrain in December.
He added that the ministers will discuss the current situation in Yemen at the political, security and humanitarian levels as well efforts made to reach a political solution to the crisis.
They will also tackle the latest political, regional and international developments and the security situation in Syria and Libya.
