Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, will start a visit to Egypt Sunday.
During his two-day visit, Lukashenko will meet with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to discuss means of boosting bilateral cooperation, as well as other issues of mutual concern.
The visit coincides with the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, according to a statement by the Belarusian embassy here.
It is meant to further strengthen the "historical friendship" between Cairo and Minsk, it noted.
