Beni Suef Governor Sherif Habib held a meeting Saturday with a South Korean delegation to discuss cooperation in sewage system development. 
During the meeting, they discussed expanding nationwide the Membrane bioreactor (MBR) system after its success for the first time in Egypt at a treatment plant in el Basateen village, Beni Suef. 
The delegation included members of the Korean Egyptian Development Association and representatives of a South Korean sewage treatment company. 
The discussions covered means to support MBR system nationwide and building a factory for treatment with a membrane liquid-solid separation process, the governor said.
