Youth and Sports Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz is on a visit to France to mull service projects in Egypt.

A project to use bicycles in public transport has been discussed by the minister with officials of a French firm, he told MENA correspondent in Paris.

The plan is proposed to be implemented in Cairo, Alexandria and some Red Sea cities, he noted.

He visited some French factories that are specialized in this field.

Eighty cities around the world uses bicycles in public transport, said Abdel Aziz.
