Cairo airport received on Saturday morning one of the Egyptian army officers who has been abroad for medical treatment after sustaining wounds in Sinai operations.
Captain Amr Abdel Raouf returned home from London after receiving medical treatment there. He had lost his right eye during confrontations with terrorists in Sinai.
Senior Interior Ministry officials and airport leaders were on hand to receive him at the airport.
Abdel Raouf left Cairo for London in February where he was receiving treatment in Saint Mary hospital.
