Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived in Djibouti Monday, on his first stop of an African tour that will also take him to Uganda.
Shoukry is scheduled to hold talks with senior officials in Djibouti to discuss bilateral cooperation at the political and economic levels.
They will also discuss efforts to counter terrorism.
Shoukry will also probe political, security and economic developments in Africa, particularly the Horn of Africa region.
They will tackle Red Sea security and navigation freedom in Bab al Mandab area, as well as the latest developments in Yemen.
