President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will receive French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian during his visit to Egypt on Thursday, France’s embassy in Cairo said in a statement. 
Le Drian is scheduled to hold talks with Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi, the statement said.
The meetings will tackle the regional developments, especially Libya, as well as boosting the bilateral ties.
The embassy added that the French top diplomat would also meet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark, where he would offer condolences to him and all the Copts over the Minya terrorist attack on May 26.
