Led by President Donald Trump's top advisor Jared Kushner, a US delegation arrived in Cairo Wednesday on a two-day visit to Egypt to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region. 
The delegation includes Jason Greenblatt, the US president's assistant and special representative for international negotiations and Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy Dina Powell.
Hisham el Naqib, assistant foreign minister for affairs of the two Americas, and US Embassy staff received the delegation at the airport. 
The US delegation is in the Middle East to discuss a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
